Our Mission
The goal of building the IMCE Islamic Center (and mosque) is to provide a spiritual and community hub for the Indonesian Muslims and other muslims living in Edmonton area. This center will serve as a place of worship, learning, and gathering, fostering a sense of belonging and unity. It is a significant step towards preserving cultural heritage and supporting the spiritual growth of our community members.

PHASED DEVELOPMENT PLAN
Phase 1: Immediate
focuses on securing the property and making it quickly usable for community gatherings. This involves minimal but essential renovations to ensure the space is safe, functional, and welcoming. This initial phase will allow us to immediately begin holding regular prayers, community events, and other gatherings, providing a much-needed central hub for our members.
Phase 2: Medium Term
will involve more extensive renovations to create dedicated spaces for a wider range of activities. This may include creating classrooms for religious education, meeting rooms for community groups, a library or resource center, and dedicated spaces for youth and seniors.
Phase 3: Looking to the future
We envisions a vertical expansion of the building to accommodate further growth and development. This expansion will allow us to add more rooms as needed, potentially including a larger prayer hall, additional classrooms, or other specialized spaces. This long-term vision ensures that the IMCE Centre can continue to serve the community for generations to come, adapting and expanding to meet the changing needs of our growing membership.
